Home Modification Grants
CHOICE has a grant of up to $1,000 available to help fund the cost of a home modification that will open or improve employment opportunities for a person with a disability in Northern Virginia. Examples of home modifications include ramps, roll-in showers, automatic door openers, environmental controls, and adapted home work stations. Individuals must provide written verification of their disability status and a written estimate of the cost of the modification. Payments will be made directly to the contractor or vendor.
